I'm experience these glitches: Graphic glitches and distortion in a project when zooming in or out in Revit (autodesk.com)
I'm unsure what the cause is. I've tried looking for anything more than 20miles from the project internal origin but cannot see anything. Majority of items are away from the internal origin, however all seem to be within approx 8.5 miles from the internal origin.
If it is something which is hiding in a linked AutoCad file, if I unload the files would that solve the issue? Or would I need to delete / replace the AutoCad files?
Could there be another cause, other than having items away from the internal origin?
Thanks

Could be hardware related. Disable Hardware Acceleration, restart Revit and see if that helps.
If Revit is working fine under normal circumstances and then in a specific project you have distortion related to the distance from origin i would clearly state this is the issue as this is a common these with linked models far from origin.
As a test try a new model and place the Links using "Manual Placement" and picking a point near the Internal Origin and review in to the problematic model
@jay_colcombe thanks Jay.
A follow-up question, if it is an issue with a linked CAD file, in theory would unloading the CAD files solve the issue, or would the issue only go away if I remove the files?
It should in theory, but do this via the Insert Tab > link Panel > Manage Links and remove it this way.
