Graphic issues in 4k screen and missing editing options in material window

Hello,

My name is Eynat Vardi. I am an architecture student at Tel Aviv University.

I am using a student version of REVIT 2017 (that I download from your website) on my laptop,Dell inspiron i7, 4k resolution.
After changing the resolution from 4K to HD, it still have problem in realistic mode.
Another issue, is at the window of "material browser" in the material editing of walls/floors/etc.
Materials aren't shown up at the material list and the pattern option is a number and not a graphic display.

Screenshots are attached.

Thank you,

I'll be glad for your speedy response.

Eynat

looks like you have two separate issues:

issue 1:  Revit software materials are not installed properly or Revit installation did not take properly....do a repair/reinstall or clean uninstall/reinstall to fix

issue 2:  Graphics card driver may not be functioning properly...download latest driver from dell and try again.  If is does not work, try downloading latest driver from graphics card manufacturer and try again.

Lastly, make sure you download/install the latest version of Revit (Revit version 2017.1.1.  It has updates that affect 4k displays...
