Glass doors not loading

I am using Revit 2017 and was trying to download the door family single glass door. The family however is not loading instead the screen seems to load and then goes back to the normal editing screen without any change. All of the other door families however, loaded. Why is this happening and what must I do? I have uninstalled and reinstalled revit, used the repair revit option and done the reinstall revit all to no avail.

Hi @Anonymous

Welcome to the community! Smiley Happy

I'm assuming that you loaded a Single Glass Door, which is actually a Curtain Wall Door Family? So when you go to your Architectural Tab >> Doors >> The Glass Door Isn't visible/available under the rest of your doors?

The reason is because Curtain Wall Doors and Normal Doors get placed in different ways. THIS POST (Images Included) will help you understand and how to place the Glass Door.

I hope this helps! Smiley Happy

@Anonymous, you can also watch THIS VIDEO which would also show you how to place it a door in a curtain wall. You can also use Autodesk Seek or Revit City to find alternative Curtain Wall (Glas) Door Families or Normal (Glas) Door Families.

I hope this helps! Smiley Happy
