Presently a client is using 2D CAD and excel sheets to look after their infrastructure for the town. We are looking at ways of being able to not only have their pump stations in 3D, but to include the storm / sanitary, etc into the 3D map with GIS information included. Has anyone completed this before and if so can you point me in the right direction?
your trying to use Revit for this?

I'm looking setting up a program for a client and want a one stop shop and not a have the client require multiple programs. That is why I am asking about the Revit.
there isn't going to be a 1 product that does everything this will probably require multiple programs
have you looked at infraworks 360 for bringing in your GIS data or Civil 3D?
what is the end result you are looking for?

I was looking for them to include a 3D model of their treatment plants along with their pipe/manhole information for their asset management program. I haven't looked at Infraworks as of yet, but will see what it can do.
