Have two projects that when a user goes to open them, they get the message below.
I have tried to create a new cloud model. Local Central / Local model. Followed this link (or tried) https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Revit-encountered-...
Deleted all cached models, PacCache and all %Temp% files. Others can open it fine all the same versions of Revit.
Any ideas on how I can get this solved. Thanks
On the same pc, log on one of the others that don't experience this problem and see what happens if they load the model. If they don't have any problem, then there's something wrong with the original users Revit profile. If the error still appears, there's something wrong with Revit.
If there's a problem with the Revit profile, rename the folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit <version> to something like .old. Then start Revit and try loading the model. If this solves the problem, you're good to go. If not, there's something else going on.
If there's a problem with Revit; up to Revit 2021, you can perform a repair. As of 2022, this option is no longer available, meaning you have remove / reinstall Revit.
I've seen this happen when a user is on a different build number. Make sure everyone is on the same build.
