Get Rid of this Revit start up Dialogue Box

Dear Forums and AD Technical people watching.

In the images attached here,    which appear regularly at start up of Revit 2022,  I have repeatedly unticked the box "Help Develop Our Products and Services"  every time it appears.

I do not want to tick this box however, this dialogue is INTRUSIVE and clearly,  AutoDesk are not giving us the option because this stupid box keeps re-appearing every  3rd or 4th odd  start up instance,  with the persistence that eventually, User will give in and leave it ticked and that will dismiss the dialogue for this installation.

I find this approach  wrong and intrusive and I want it gone.

Can anyone please tell me what I have to do to stop it continually re-appearing.

thanks in advance

Are you on the 30 day trial?

Never mind.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Not seen it myself before.

It seems to be depending on account settings, see HERE.

So you might check your account and/or contact Autodesk (create a support ticket in your account).

Not sure if some data is stored locally (e.g. in a folder or in registry).

Does your IT department reset you computers on a regular basis? Or do they have protocols/software that clean up folders/registry or make read only? This might be a cause for reappearance of that dialog.

Please mention Revit version, especially when uploading Revit files.

Hi ,

No, I am the IT dept.

Standalone single machine, although brand new Win 11 Pro worstation a month ago.

I have had my seat since 2002, so fairly familiar with installs and standard type messages - this one is unusual in the sense it will not go away.

thanks for the reply - I will lodge a support request.

From what I'm finding this dialog would be showing up the first time you launch software, but your choice (on the dialog) should be saved, and then the dialog would not show up on subsequent launches.

From what you're describing it doesn't sound like this is working as it should. If you've not already done so, try going through the steps in the following article:

Autodesk privacy statement comes up repeatedly even after it's been accepted

Hi, OK will try that before lodging the support request.

I note the article has a Data Key for AutoCAD.

Is this different for Revit ?

What is the data key for Revit please ?

That looks like a product key. You can look those up here: Look up product keys

Revit 2022 would be 829N1
