We want to set the geolcation in Revit to a CAD drawing (dwg) using publish coordinates.
We set the location of revit file from 'Location' in Manage tab. We linked a DWG to the drawing and tried to publish the coordinates. But it shows that the .rvt file doesn't contain any geolocation data even after having set the location. What are some of the ways to set the geolocation data in revit?
"Publish" means: this host model has specific coordinates and will pass that information to a link. "Acquire" means this model does not have specific coordinates and will get them from the link.
Is it not "Acquire" what you need instead of "Publish"?
If you want to set the coordinates in Revit to the coordinates in a Geolocated DWG, I highly recommend the Specify Coordinates at Point workflow.
