Hello,
When i'm using a phasing override (in elevation) which colors the new objects blue and the existing objects dark-grey then it seems to work except for generic models! None of the generic models (which are new models) are overridden.
I tried to change the line colors of the generic models but also that does not work.
So i'm stuck with generic models with projections line that do not respond to ALL of the override features of revit.
I'm at a loss here, somebody have an idea?

you can do it if you change the type of family from generic model to another type like attached file
Thx for the quick reply,
This solution (all generic changed into columns) works only for 1 or 2 generic models, the rest is still not overridden.
Strange thing is one generic model (column) is partially overridden....
Think i found something very strange:
When using a section to draw elevations of the building the behaviour of the override is consistent.
When using elevation to draw elevations the projection lines fail to be overridden (generic models) EXCEPT when i change the 'Model Display --> silhouettes property' to another (preferred overridden color).
There must be something limiting when using elevation function in revit 2020!
ok , i think there are another solution , by making a filter with comment .
put a comment in the thing you wan to make override and make a filter from v.g with comment
