Hello all,
I've been working on a new project and I wanted to model standard roof elements in to my model. So I downloaded an element from a manufacturer and inserted it in my project.
I have made referenceplanes and wanted to host this roof element to this referenceplane. This is not possible.
I can only switch between the different levels in the project.
Never have I tried to host a generic model to the roof so I have no clue how to make this work...
Help is very much needed

What is the element? Is it Work Plane-Based? Not Always Vertical?
Post it here. We'll look at it.
Thanks for the reply.
I've checked if the workplane base checkbox is checked. It is not...
What to do now?

The only thing in this RVT is a Roof. Is this what you downoaded? A pre-defined Roof Type? If so, Roof's are Level Hosted System Families. If you want it to slope from level, then edit the Roof by Footprint and, in edit mode, define a slope for one edge. You can also create a Roof by Extrusion.
