Furniture and plumbing not showing up

I am working on an electrical plan so I am drawing on the ceiling view. But for some reason, a lot of items aren't showing up like the toilets, sinks furniture etc. The shower head and the tub showed up though?

Everything on the visibility graphics are turned on, also there is no view template.

How do I fix it so I can see everything?

Set the view to Coordination discipline.

No matter what discipline I change it to, it doesn't change it.

I ended up adding a plan region and that worked, but there has got to be a better way...

It means they are outside of the view range.  You can edit the view range instead.

That's what I thought too, but why would the tub show up and not the toilet. I hate Revit sometimes.

Revit is very fun, actually! Your issue is because of the value of your view range. Here is a small example of what you are going through, @steadfasthomeplans:

The green lines represent the cut planes (or the distance from the corresponding level where your "eyes" begin to see) and is the reason you can see some elements in one view and others in different views. Imagine the green lines are where your eyes would begin to see the world in the image above.

At Graitec we work on things like this when creating or modifying Revit templates for our clients.
