So as I'm watching tutorials about what's new in Revit 2023 I noticed a new function being used by other users, but it doesn't seem to be available to me. The function is 'Converting Lines' to be used on Folding Lines to convert them to Split Lines while Modifying the Sub Elements of a Roof or a Floor as explained on this page: https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-EBE1D178-FAAB-4504-B945-7F3D23D357AE
And in this youtube video at 1:15: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jzzABClA08M
I've seen it appear in a couple of youtube tutorials like so:
Does anyone have any idea why I don't have it? I'm currently using Revit 2023.1 and am completely up to date.
This is what I can see:
Gelöst! Gehe zur Lösung
Gelöst von ToanDN. Gehe zur Lösung
Omg, why didn't I check this (face palm)...
So apparently this function is only available for Floors...
Which I think is kinda weird and not logical but ok...
This page talks about Roofs and Floors: https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-296F9E46-85F9-4E15-9EF2-39411FA44CA3
This page is mentioned on the page above but doesn't mention Floors specificly until the last step:
https://help.autodesk.com/view/RVT/2023/ENU/?guid=GUID-EBE1D178-FAAB-4504-B945-7F3D23D357AE
It starts with: "Select a folding line of a shape edited element and convert it to a split line."
So that's why it's confusing...
