I know this is going to be easy kudos for someone who is not as brain dead as I feel at the moment 🐵

So adhesive comes in either 5 or 20 Litre cans and the Yes/No parameter on 5 feeds the Can Coverage parameter which results in either 11 or 44 Mtr2 coverage per can - no problem.

But, I can't get the Area to now be divided by the Can Coverage results to then give the required number of cans. Boolean Operation not expected when (Material:Area/1)/Can Coverage Mtr2

does that not equate to the area being divided by either 11 or 44

Also if there is a 3rd can size, what's the Boolean expression not(5 Ltr Cans)    or 20 Ltr Can ?

Thanks forum people.

Your "11" and "44" are text. You cannot divide by text.

Edit: with a Key schedule the Yes/No parameters are unnecessary because you are selecting option from a preset drop down list.  I left them there for information only - they don't serve any purposes.

See attached Revit 2017 file example on how to deal with more than 2 options using a Key schedule.
