Hi Friends,
When I add Footing to my wall, it doesn't divide equally beside foundation wall. Does anyone know any solution? Thanks for help
There are two setting for Wall Foundations. Bearing and Retaining, if it set to be a Retaining foundation then it will have a heel and toe value which will be added to the face of the wall, so it's overall width can vary and not be centered. If it is set to Bearing then it will have a width value and be based off of the center line of the wall, then as stated above there will be an eccentricity value to shift it from being centered.
Looking at the file you have a value in the Eccentricity change it back to 0
The correct Eccentricity would be 102 mm to center the footing with the concrete core. But you cannot do it because the footing would inset from the exterior finish, which Revit does not permit. 100 mm is the max value that you can enter for Eccentricity. If you can increase the width of the footing a bit then you would okay.
Or, if the 660 mm footing width is fixed then you have to model the concrete and the finish as two separate walls and join them. In such case, the footing to be placed under the concrete wall with 0 Eccentricity.
