I am in the process to convert from 2012 to 2020, all the files I upgrade to 2020 have front issued. All the fonts will get larger than those in 2012 in the same size. I have to re-scale all of them to fit in the same space on the 2012. Any way I can set for it to accept the 2012 fonts?
Thanks.
This change happened in the jump from 2016 -> 2017. Something changed about the way the application rendered certain text. I do not believe there is any work around inside of Revit. I remember having to run through the documents and readjust all of the text manually.
If I recall correctly, somebody did publish a dynamo graph for this fix, so if you have many hundreds or thousands of views to fix, you may want to consider looking for or developing such a graph.
If the exact numerical size does not matter to you, take a look at this:
If you'd like to see the other discussion about this, search for "2017 upgrade text".
