Folders in B360 cloud

Hi,

we've created a project in B360 cloud and collaborated model into it. what we've done is we additionally created a folders for Arch, Str, MEP and moved the files to corresponding folders.

Problem is,

  • We can't see any files on the cloud, even the folder we've created while opening through Revit.
  • So we copied all filed out of the folder even after we can't see them.

Now we are planning to remove them and re-initialize the collaboration. I don't get what we've done wrongly.

Can't we create any sub folders inside the project folder and see them through Revit?

Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your posting @PrathapSekar

Where have you created the sub folders? Did you create sub folders from BIM 360 Document Management, and under Project Files folder? If that's correctly done, you should see all the sub folders in Revit as you see in BIM 360 Docs. Do you have any screenshot?

Thank you for your screenshot @PrathapSekar.

I can see that you are using BIM 360 Team. This is as designed and limitation at this point that from Revit, all models will be uploaded to the BIM 360 directly, but no sub folders are available.

However, once C4R model is uploaded, within BIM 360 Team, you can move the model to the sub folder. Note that from Revit side, there will be no change in saved path. (It will be still directly under BIM 360)

Hope this clarifies.

Thanks @yurikim,

I understand. So, we can't open files from sub folder using B360 Team.
