Floors Hidden lines

Hello all,

I have a floor in Revit with multiple slopes. I dont want to see the slope lines so in the VG I turned them off, but when I print in PDF I see their possition.

Do you have any idea how I would not see them ?

Thank you!

Do they still show if you tab through and Hide in View?

Use the Linework (LW) Tool on the Modify Tab.

I have many slopes and 4 floors with large long, so the LT it will take me a lot of time.. what I did it was to keep the hidden lines on, and to gave them the same color as the surface of the floor. The result is better but I can still see them in the pdf

Are you saying that the PDF shows that linework even if you override the Floor's Projection Line Color to be the same color as the Material's Graphic Color?

What is the View's Visual Style?

I override the color of the projection lines to be the same as the color of the surface (Image 1). and the result in pdf is in the image 2. In Revit, if I don't select the floor I don't see the lines.

Thank you for your time!

What's the View's Visual Style? Are you processing the PDF as a Vector or a Raster?

...try using the "Replace halftone with thin lines" option in the Print Setup dialog.

No issue here using Export to PDF in Revit 2022.

Hello,

Actually in your pdf you have the same problem as me...you see the white lines where you had the slope

You know, I'm not able to replicate. Have you tried another PDF printer?

I get very faint lines in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, but it's far more noticeable when viewed in my web browser (see below)

It appears that I can't replicate this issue either.

Here's my own attempt. The interior lines disappear as expected.

I've also attached my project file & a print pdf for comparision.

Oooh, I can see the lines when I preview my uploaded pdf but not when I download it. Can you download my pdf and see if the issue is still there for you. This is starting to look like a graphics issue.

Thank you for the test. When I download your pdf and open in with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I dont see the lines. But when I open it with PDF-Xchange Edit I see them.

In my case when I open my pdf with both pdfs readers dont work

Export to Raster PDF:  no lines

Export to Vector PDF:  only see the lines if I zoom in very close in Adobe Acrobat pro 2020
