Floor Slab heights not matching Topography heights

Hi,

I've got an issue with my floor slabs, used as external paving, and adjacent topography.

In the attached image, the points between the floor/topo have the same heights yet are shown differently in 3D.

Any help to resolve this would be appreciated.

I think it is better if you can use building pads

See if this Dynamo helps you model that

Hi thanks for your reply, I have seen this method before.

I don't think I can use it as the plan area of the floor has been split out of the toposurface.

And that both are being change to match proposed point heights, so neither are in the right position to begin with.

I'm not understanding what "points" you are comparing. You say "the points between the floor/topo have the same heights".  Are the comparing the Point Elevations of a Shape-Edited Floor (via Modify Sub-Elements) with the Internal Points in Toposurface  Edit Mode. If so, there is no correlation.  Toposurface Point Elevations are relative to the Internal Origin of the Project and Modify Sub-Elements' Points are relative to zero.

I think i've realised that, eventually. I was just confused between two figures for elevations supposedly being the same but showing differently in 3D. I've moved the project base point back to the internal origin and things appear to be aligned.
