I have an issue in that the pattern of my floors is not showing. I have checked the 'visibility graphics and overrides' and the 'view templates' and there is nothing to indicate why it's not showing. There is also no 'plan regions' either. I simply went into >edit type< then >type properties< then >edit assembly< and then updated >surface patterns< (having found and watched several youtube videos regarding floor patterns and followed these) so I am very confused why there is still no reason why the pattern of my floor finish should not be showing. I am using an education version of Revit 2024 Has AutoDesk added restrictions to the education version for floor patterns? It would seem ridiculous if they have because floor patterns is such a basic fundamental of design drawings.

If the floor category's Pattern Transparency is not overridden in Visibility/Graphics it is possible that someone used the right click Override Elements option which permits turning off the pattern. Select the floor and right click and choose the Override in View > Elements, what does the dialog reveal? If there is a reset button active in the bottom left corner then the element has been overridden at some point.
