Hi All,
As you can see in the image below, I created a pattern on my floor (see 2D view), but it's not applied in the 3D view, and I can't see the material I applied. What could be the issue?
Thanks.

Change the 3d from realistic to hidden line, shaded or consistent. If you want the realistic to have the same pattern, perhaps you may want to use custom tile texture (see attached)

I changed the 3d view to hidden, then to shaded and no things happen!?
here my parameters
Thanks.
Click on this
In the material editor, what do you see in your appearance? You may have a different material, so if you want to make it the same pattern as the hidden line, change these setting.
Your shaded, consistent & hidden line will only use these setup
View = Hidden
Phase Filter = Show Complete

I applied your parameters as shown in the image below and no thing changed!?
My other parameters have been checked, as shown in the image below, as suggested by @barthbradley and @ToanDN , but no changes have occurred !?
Thanks.
Hello @REDO10 ,
This is normal, as @syman2000 said, in non-Realistic view, only the Graphiques tab will show otherwise it is the Apparence info that is used. In your screenshot, there is no pattern in your material so in your Shaded view, nothing is displayed.
Just a question, in your first post, is your pattern a Model one (motif de modèle) ?
@barthbradley @ToanDN @syman2000
I finally applied my pattern using the model pattern and material shown in the image below
Now, I'm looking to use various materials or colors for each sub-element in the pattern, as shown in this image. How can I achieve that?"
Thanks.

FWIW: There are boat loads of videos/tutorials on line that can teach how to do this and much, much more. You ought grab your popcorn and watch a few.
I would first use generic material and add that to your current material
Select your custom image
click on realistic to make the custom image to show up

You can easily assign the texture to the material's Appearance but you will not see the colors in Hidden/Consistent Colors/Shaded views. For such visual styles, assign a model surface pattern matching the texture so that you can at least see the line patterns.
Thanks for your replies @ToanDN , @syman2000 , @barthbradley
Do you have a link where I can find this model pattern , or can you guide me on how to create it? (I want, as ToanDN said, to have the surface pattern match the texture, that allows me to see the line patterns!)
Thanks.
How did you get your floor plan hatch that was shown in your first post? If you want to download the pyrevit, you can download from https://github.com/eirannejad/pyRevit/releases

I have never worked with pyrevit and I dont know how to use it!.. If it's not inconvenient for you, could you please either create this pattern for me using pyrevit or provide a link where I can download it?
Thanks.
It is very easy to create. Basically you draw the pattern using detail lines, select them and click a button. Attached is what have created for you.
