Does anyone know how I can achieve this flooring material in the photo in a ground floor plan?
Edit the material surface pattern by creating a vertical hatch from an existing one or from scratch:

"In the photo" as in "photorealistic" (a.k.a. Realistic View and/or Rendered View)?
Assign an Appearance Asset to your Floor Material from your Asset Browser that has the look you want. There are plenty to choose from.
Thanks for the help.
I have been able to apply the fill to my floors in a ground floor perspective.
However, the pattern runs through my furniture as well.
How can I change that the pattern doesn't run through my furniture?
Edit the Families that are "transparent" in Project Plan View (e.g. show floor line work through them). In the Family, go to Plan View and add a Masking Region to it. Reload into Project.
