Hi,
I'm trying (and failing) to get a proper junction between my slope layers on a "flat roof" and the attic wall on it's edge. The attic wall should reach the concrete construction slate and should cut though the finish layers. But it doesn't. Instead it stands on the slope layer. See attached image with Autocad drawing of the desired endresult on the left, the Revit issue on the right and the roof layers in the middle window. Can anyone help?
Can you post the file? It's hard to see what's happening (or not happening) from this one Section View.
You want this? Set the core and finish layers of the wall and the roof properly. Core will join core. Finishes will join finishes.
Hi,
Thanks, but that's not exactly what I need.
I want to have a LEVELED construction steel reinforced slab and atop of it an EXTRA LAYER of sloped light concrete.
That extra layer, should behave like the finishing layers - which means it should finish BEFORE the attic wall. The attic wall should go all the way down to the construction level, and should cut through the light concrete. That's why I don't include the concrete layer in the construction part of the roof definition.
Any ideas?

They are the same. I change the layer thicknesses so it gives a better perception.
as it turns out, the sttings were alright all along!!!!
I work on a full version of Revit 2011 and that's where the layers don't join properly.
The same file opened on Revit 2019 LT displays ok.
Sorry I wasted your time.
But then I just wasted 3 days trying to solve that myself! Revit2011 #$%^&*()_(*&^%$# !
Still the company had paid for it. There should be a patch to fix bugs like that.
Does anyone know how to get them?
