flange connection on a tank

hello

the topic seems to be dealing with MEP but not... it's simlply dealing withfamily creation

i tried during a couple of hours to add a flange (family) into another family in orcer the flange can rotate around a tank...

and in the end i've got the message "constraints are..."

weel, i'm as tied as disappointed if someone can tell me how to succeed this simple action

i found many examples on internet... i even succeeded to did again a family on internet but i didn't succeded to did mine....

Post the family.

BTW, if you are trying to rotate a nested family in a radial fashion, the nested family better have "Always Vertical" UNCHECKED.

i've found another family with a ratating element and in the end i finally found the orther missing thing : the nested family must be "work plan based"

it seems really obvious but this is one of my first parametric family...
