Hello Revit Community,
This is my first Revit model ever and it's immediately a big project. It's a renovation of a big office building in Brussels and I would like some feedback or tips from you guys!
Thanks in advance!

the revit file:
It's a nice model, but very heavy. You might want to look into breaking it up. The repetitive design is perfectly suited for it. I'm surprised too that you used no groups or assemblies.
...it's a very unwieldy. I notice that you have a lot CAD work Imported in. May I suggest Linking instead.
...big improvement by purging unused!
...round 2: even after deleting the 2332 HVAC units, the 24 CAD drawing Imports, purging the 757 unused elements, the project is still unwieldy for me. I just don't have the horsepower on this workstation to be able to maneuver around inside this project (..."Revit is not responding"). And, you haven't even got your annotations or sheets yet! You need to do some serious streamlining here, or you're going to crash and burn. That's my feedback, FWIW.
The model seems to be clean. I don't have any issues opening or orbiting it. Maybe @barthbradley is still using a 386SX33 Compaq or something along that line;)
- If it's a renovation project you should utilize Phasing. Draw existing elements under Existing phase, demolish what need to be demolished under New phase, and draw new elements under New phase.
- You don't use worksets. Is it not a central based project? Either way, I would utilize worksets for anything bigger than a family home.
- Use Groups for repetitive elements as mentioned
That's it for now.
