Sometimes it is difficult to find an opening that I cut in a roof. Most of the time if I hover over it with my mouse it will highlight.
Other times I simply cannot find it, even if I try to in different views.
Is there a way to locate cut openings every time, like a command?
Is is visible when you select the Element that it is intersecting with and cutting?
...but, there is no special command to reveal it other then Unjoin. I feel your pain though. It is difficult to find it sometimes for all of us.
If you are using the built-in opening tools from the ribbon (By Face/Shaft/Vertical/Wall/Dormer) you could select multiple elements by a crossing window and then Filter out selection and check only the opening
Otherwise you have the following options
YOUTUBE | BIM | COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN | PARAMETRIC DESIGN | GENERATIVE DESIGN | VISUAL PROGRAMMING

My problem turned out to be that the shaft opening was set to a different workset than the main workset1 I was working on, and that workset was turned to NOT VISIBLE. Therfor, it was completely unavailable because It was turned off.
Check your worksets. ![]()
