Filters in 3D views For Rooms

Hello!

I am new to filters on Revit and struggling with the colour coding. I am trying to colour code the department in 3d view using the ( rooms category). I seem to have tried everything. But the colours are not showing. Please let me know how I can fix this or suggest an alternate method to do so. I am using Revit 2021.

Sadly room won't show up in 3d view. However there is a neat trick you can do to make floorplan as 3d and you can make the room showup. Check this video
