Filtering in schedules

I struggle with some Revit behavior, for me it seems very inconsistent in some ways.

I have question about schedules. Is there any list of prohibited/unssuported parameters for filtering except those which are named in here (https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/revit-products/learn-explore/caas/CloudHelp/cloudhelp/2019/EN...)? It seems incomplete to me and therefore I need more explanation.

For example I came across - In furniture schedule, I cannot filter by Level, which I need to use. I also need to see in which phase is furnishing created and removed. I know that I can use the Multicategory schedule, then filter by category (furniture) and then filter by Level. Unfortunately, in multicategory there are not the parameters supported by Furniture schedule - Phase Created and Phase Demolished which I need to show for furniture. I just have to create two schedules for it and use phasing filter in project, not the schedule once. Does it have any reason to behave like that?

And are there any other restriction about filtering? Please share more complete information about schedules.

Thank you

RB

In a furniture schedule you can filter by level (as long as you have added the level field)

And you can show Phase created and demolished.

You don't need to create a multicategory

Shouldn't you just sort by level ie. instead of filtering? And add phase created demolished as fields?

Thanks, I did added the parameter and it did not show up in drawbar yesterday anyway.

It is working today, maybe some other bug - maybe memory?

Turn Revit off and on worked. :grinsendes_Gesicht_mit_lächelnden_Augen:

But thanks anyway

I should not. I need to put this schedule to the sheet with view of only one level. Otherwise it would be confusing.
