Hello,
I am making an overview drawing of all the railing on a terrain. To distinguish the different types of railing from eachother, I used filters to give each their own color. However, sometimes I had to use several individual segments of the same type next to eachother. In the overview drawing this shows up as a continuous line. In the overview it has to be clear that these are separate segments. To achieve this, I had the idea to use a separate filter on the Start and End posts and have them show up as a black dot. When I apply the filter, nothing happens. (see attached) What could be the problem? Or is there maybe a better way to achieve my goal?
Any help is appreciated!
Johan

Yes all the balusters are visible in the view. The thing is, when I check all the boxes (see attached), then the override works for all the components of the railing( balusters, top rail etc.) I just can't seem to apply the filter to just one of them.
That does seems to be the problem either, I put the filter at the top and still nothing.
Considering:
I would say the Baluster Category shouldn't be in the filter Category list, and is there by mistake.
Add a detail Item to you end-balusterfamilies. In the detail item, draw the cut-profile and assign the SubCategory to a dedicated Category (p.e MyEndBaluster).
Hide the Detail-Item subCategory in "normal" plan views, override the subCategory in the overview drawing.
