Hi everyone,
I would like to create 3D views in Revit 2020.2 that use a comment (Instance) based filter.
Unfortunately, this doesn't work.
I have already tried different rules, but still without success...
Is this problem known?
Thanks

Are you talking about Rule-Based Filters? Did you actually add the Filter to the 3D View?
Good morning everyone,
thanks for your Answers.
Yes I'm talking about Rule-Based Filters to check in 3D View all my Elements whom have comments.
I have used exactly the same Rule-Based Filter but with an shared parameter as Instance and it's working.
If one Element has a comment, I can see it in my 3D view.
If not are my Elements whitout comment hidden.
BUT with standard parameter "comment" from Revit it's still not working.

That's not possible. Sounds like someone may have added a Shared Parameter/Project Parameter named "Comments" to the Project. How many "Comments" do you see?
The Default parameter is likely to be Comments not comment
Yeah can use that one to create filters in any View
i am trying to figure out how to do this too, we have "comments" set as piping systems, how would i isolate based on those comments so i can export isolated piping systems to cad?
Add Comments = Not Equal: the value of the pipes you want to isolate. Then add the filter to the view/view template and clear the Visible box.
ok it looks like that worked, i did the complete opposite. i had the filter "equal" the "comment" we wanted then selected the "visible" box for it
