filling with color for rooms

why isnt the color fill command doesnt fill the color of the rooms? however this works in another file. COLOR FILL.JPGroom fill.JPG

you have to choose Colour Scheme if it is by Name or by Department .

If you want to make it by Department , you have first to define the Departments...Select the Rooms ( in Floor Plan or Room Schedule) and put them in Departments ( example : apartment 1, apartment 2, circulations...)

Otherwise choose Color Scheme by Name - you have already Names alocated to Rooms...

Make sure teh Rooms Color Fill subcategory is checked.

I've made a screencast on the subject . A better control can be obtained using Room Schedules ( not shown in this  screencast)

I have the feeling that the View already has a color scheme applied because the Color fill legend is there.

isn't the file a Linked one? I see in your screenshot that the option : Include Elements from Linked Files is deactivated....
