hi

You can use the materials and the use of Jpg format.

And for what purpose you want??

Please use " Accept as Solution", and give kudos as appropriate to further enhance these forums. Thank you!

I am wanting to use either a filled region or a graphic override using a jpg image (for example laminate flooring, water in a pool or tiles on a floor) in plan view, for presentation purposes.  Is this possible, or a work-around available? TIA

1. If you just need to show floor tiling etc the export floor plan to autocad, work on your hatch , superhatch by jpg etc the way you want and link that cad back to Revit .
2. It's impossible to create fill region in Revit using jpgs.
3. Gh_ar is right, you will need realistic view if you are using materials which is made using jpgs..
4. You can use any hatch pattern and convert into 3d model hatch for Revit and use it. ( learn how to convert pat file and import it in Revit for model hatch ) and use in any material surface model hatch . This won't give you jpg quality hatch but solid colour with correct model pattern is not a bad idea to depict on plans..

Cheers

- Duplicate the view and use Realistic visual style

- Use materials or decals for the applicable elements.  You can isolate them if need be.

- Overlay both views on a Sheet
