I have two versions of revit installed 2018 and 2016. Every time i try to open a file that's been already upgraded to Revit 2018, it keeps asking me if I want to open as Revit 2016. How do I prevent this from happening?
@JKspace424 I'm not sure what's happening with your file? Try to open the Revit program first, then open the file, audit and save. Don't open from window explorer and see if still the same. Thanks
Try opening it from explorer. Select from the list of programs and select the newer version as a default program.
That works for me and I hope it does for u!
Does anyone else have the program where Windows does not differentiate between versions of windows in the programs list.
I have 2019 and 2020 installed. I am still working in 2019 but it consistenty tries to open it with 2020 even if i navigate to the 2019 exetcuable file and “open with (change all)”
When I want any file to open with a certain program, I open the desired program first.
