FFL spot elevation not showing correctly

Hi guys,

I have placed a FFL spot marker on the slab and it doesn't seem to show up correctly. I know this because when I hover next to my other spot elevation (USSL), it should be displaying the same number but it doesn't. Both are set at relative base current level. Does anyone know why? Thanks

Check if they are reporting to the same Elevation Base (Select the annotation tag >> Edit type )

It is possible that the 3 Points (Survey/Project Base/Internal) are displaced from one another...If the FFL spot elevation  is reporting to one while the USSL is reporting to another, you will get that difference.

Thank you that solves it! USSL was set at survey point so I changed FFL to follow. Just wondering, what's the difference between the three?

The 3 points?..that is a big topic!! in simple words I would define them as follows:

The Survey point is what links your project to the world coordinates/sea level ...etc (usually spot coordinates reporting to this point has Big Figures - unless it has been relocated)

The Project base Point is more like the origin of a local coordinate system (coordinates read with respect to this point has more legible/domestic figures)

The internal origin is a Revit thing it (this plays a huge role towards the precision and accuracy of the model and the most important thing for you to know about it is that your model and all elements therein should not be set out too far from this point)

YOu can enable their visibility under site category in the visibility graphics dialog
