Hi! I have a bit of a difficulty writing the title to this post as I am not sure how to describe my issue with very few and descriptive words. I will elaborate and hope for some ideas.
I have a model from which I need to export views to dwg. In these exports, I am required to include a little table at 0,0,0, which contains information such as:
company name
discipline
file name (the name of the resulting dwg. i.e. the name of the view I used to export from revit)
date
elevation (the elevation of the plan i am showing)
Right now I have a block with attributes that I copy manually everytime I export and fill it in manually in autoCAD. I am certain there has to be a better way, though... Some sort of nested annoation family, or title block, within a generic face based family perhaps? I feel I am close but I just can't figure it out...
Thanks in advance for every input! ![]()

I am not exactly sure how to do it. Going from the theoretical idea to actually making it. What family template should I start with to get all the required labels in?
Detail Item Template. Load and place Label Annotations in the View (one for each of your fields) and then associate the Label Annotations' "Label" Parameter (under Type Properties) to Family Parameters. Make the Family Parameters Instance-Types. Load and place an Instance into the Project View, select it and look under it's Properties for your Label Parameters. Fill them in with whatever text the Family instance should show. Pretty much the same workflow you are using in AutoCAD with Blocks and Attributes.
