Hi All,
I believe, we could not control "<Family Type..>" parameter through type catalog. Please correct me, if I am wrong.
In my case, I have a master family which have many nested families(with multiple family types) loaded in it. I need to control the family type of nested family in the master family. So, I have used "<Family Type...>" parameter in master family, that controls the family type of nested family.
Issue here is master family have 2000 family types with multiple variance of nested family's family type. I have tried controlling those parameters by type catalog, but I can't. Else I have to swap manually for each and every type, Which I guess, will consume lot of time. Is there any workaround for this process? May be through Dynamo? Please suggest.

Open families that are nested. Be sure that their parameters are instance parameters. Then, load those families back in the parent family.
Select the nested object and look at its properties. You will see instance parameters that can be constrained. Constrain those parameters with type or instance parameters of the parent family.
Another thing is where you want a nested family to be shared. But from what I understand you want parent to drive the child.

Thanks for your reply.
Actually I need to control the family type of nested family in main/master family(In a bulk mode). Not the parameter of nested family.
Sorry, I red fast, didn't understand the problem
