Family Templates are installed but when using "Load Family" the folders empty.

I am currently using a student version of Revit 2018, I was successful in installing the Autodesk Revit Content Libraries 2018. And I already checked the Template folders in the default destination when installed. They are intalled, but when I use the "Load Family" inside the revit, The Default Templates Folder are empty. Only the new contents for Revit 2018.1 are the ones can be loaded.

Can anyone help?

Go to your explorer windows and copy the file path
Go to revit and paste the file path in the name field
Is showing the files?

It doesn't work. Even at first, I am sure that the file path of the installation path and inside revit load family are the same.

@rimacoca, I've notice, the supported files that can be load are ".rfa" while the defaults are .rft is there any way in changing them? or there is another way in loading them?

No.
But You can create new files from rft template and save as new rfa family file.
Go to revit and create a new family and chose the template file and save

The revit have two different folder
Template and library
You need the library folder 🙂

I'm encountering the same problem. I have already tried your advice which is making an rfa file from rft file but even when I'm about to open a family, the rft file is also not showing in the Open window.

You cannot open an RFT file.  You can use one as a template to create a new RFA file.  If you look at your image, the file types being shown are *.rfa and *.adsk.
