You will have to go and edit the family and change the name of the parameter if it was wrongly labelled. Check the elevation views and see if the parameter you want to edit it is in fact window head and not window cill and check wether the parameter flexes when changing the heigh value.

Hi again

What you are referring to is a built in system parameter which I believe you cannot rename. It is hard coded. But what you can do is fix it to read the actual head height.

This parameter is displayed when you load the window family into the project and it is calculated based on the sum of :
1. "default sill height" parameter
AND
2. The built in "height" diameter

Who designed this family has set the default parameter "height" to zero 0. Therefore it is reporting same measured distance as the Sill.

What you need to do is fix the family so that it uses the height parameter

One way to do so is .. On family editor
1. Change the "Window Height" to a type parameter instead of instance
2. Set the parameter "Height" to be equal to "Window Height"

Save and reload...now it will read the proper value

This is a quick one solution... There are many other
