Family Parameter Does Not Show in List

Hi Everyone,

I have the following issue: I created a parameter for a Family ("Usage") where I can put in the usage of the conceptual mess.

Now when I generate a schedule list, and I put the parameter "Usage" in the field, it just stays empty and doesn't show the text which is typed by the parameter Usage. (On the attached screenshot, I practically want to have the same text in D as now its in C)
I attache the files (The Family and a Screenshot) as well.

Thanks for helping out!

Is the "Usage" parameter a SHARED PARAMETER?  It needs to be.

...What minute. I think I misunderstood. Where is the "Usage" Parameter coming from?  Is it a Project Parameter or a Shared Parameter in the Family itself?

...okay, I just opened your  family, loaded it into a Project and created a Schedule. "Usage" reports fine.  Since it's a Type Parameter (as opposed to a Instance Parameter), why don't you just enter a value into one of the "Usage" fields? Then that value will show up for all "Usage" fields.

...How many Available Parameter Fields are named "Usage"? Maybe you accidentally included the wrong one in your Schedule.

Hi, thanks for the answer.

I considered every point that you wrote, I also created the family parameter again, tried many times, but no success.

Interesting is, if I create a tag which is parametrised by the parameter "Usage", it can handle it and writes the values of "Usage" every time.

But still, I don't have any values in the schedule under the parameter "Usage". I attach the most recent family with which I'm trying to work.

Thanks again!

I don't know why it's not working for you. It works for me.  Did you actually Type something into the "Usage" field?

Did you by any chance add the Usage parameter to the project parameter list? If so, don't do it.
remove it from the project parameter list.

If you have been struggling with the parameter for some time now, you propably have several shared parameters all named "Usage" in the project.

Try a schedule in a new project.

Hi Everyone,

thanks for the answers, I tried everything, but still nothing.

I attach again the key point of the problem, maybe someone could come up with a solution.

I checked, and there is only one "Usage" parameter everywhere, I deleted other ones.Type editorType editorSchedule listSchedule listFamily editorFamily editor
