Hello,
There's a model I'm working on, where I can't get family instances for certain objects to show up. I've enclosed the problematic objects and RVT file to see if someone can help me figure this one out.
There's 2 vehicles, one is classified as site, the other as generic model. No matter how I place them, where I place them, they don't show up.
I've spent the past hour playing around with view settings, visibility, phase filters, overrides, view filters, view ranges... nothing seems to get them to show up. I've tried creating new views, nothing. The objects are there if you enable the show hidden objects function, but outside that they're invisible. And they show up in schedules, so Revit knows they're there.
I'm sure there's some insignificant thing I'm missing here. But, so far I haven't found it!
In your Visibility/Graphics on your 3D view, in the tab Imported Categories, the Imports in Families row was unchecked. Check it and they will appear. Ensure this is checked in all views in which you want to see the vehicle objects.
