Family element size based on attached level.

I am creating a Window family which has a fall protection glass. The top of the glass is so that it is 80 cm above finished level.  Since the windos have different sill heights, I made an extrusion inside family with the top of extrusion locked to 80cm.

This works fine when I flex inside the family. But once I import the family in the project the top of the glass is independent.

attaching screenshots of the family and once its loaded inside the project.

I tried to solve it by using global parameters and system Sill Height parameter, but no luck on my side. Though I believe a key to this problem is to find a solution in the project by using Sill Height, not in the family.

Hopefully someone else will have any idea, I'm interested in the solution!

It seems to be an already noted isssue.

Autodesk support has given  a workaround which involves creating a duplicate sill parameter. Not the best solution in my opinion, but it works.

Thanks for trying nevertheless!
