I got this toilet and i copied from sample project, and on the family editor and in the sample project it looks fine. But when I import it to my own architecture project, the toilet appears different, it looks like wire fram, but the settings but I the visual style is not in wireframe, how can I fix it so that it looks cleaner without the excessive lines.
On this image below the family is on the family editor It looks good:
Now on this other image is how it looks on my project. How can I make it look like on the family editor? It has a lot of unnecessary lines

The only way I can replicate the display you show in your screenshot, is by setting my view to Wireframe. Are you positive your view isn't set to Wireframe? Try another view.
yes i think it was in wireframe i got all confused, thanks man, Several families look wierd, it was because of that.
Hey man thanks, i have another issues with a family, i cannot load it on a project and it gives me an error message, should I share it with you here or should I make a different post.
Hi, I am experiencing the same issue as the other user, but it's about wireframe display, it's displayed correct, but not showing up the entire model. Could you please take a look for me?
It shows up as the second image.
Thanks for taking a look!
Nothing is visible! You need to edit each Nested Family and change the Visibility Settings of all the elements in it. Check all the boxes under Visibility Settings and reload the Nested Families into the Parent Family.
Then, in the Parent Family, make the Nested Family elements visible by checking all the boxes under each Nested Families Instance Properties.
Hi, I did both steps for all parts but it's still not displayed correctly. How do I reload nested parts into family? Maybe I didn't do that part correctly.
What's wrong with it? Your screenshot looks identical to mine above. That's how everything looks. That's how you've assembled it in the Parent Family.
yes it looks the same as yours, but in 3D view is still look like this, not sure why
This is how your USM Haller room divider 1536x536740-1240 mm.rfa looks in 3D View on my end -- after I make all the geometries visible, as per my instruction above.
yes, when it's in the model edit view, it looks correct just like your screenshot, but when I import to my project, it appears incorrectly. In project plan view or elevation view, everything shows up. Only 3D view is not working.

If you changed the Visibility Settings like I told you above (and you confirmed you did), then it should be visible at all Detail Levels.
I think I know what's going on now. When you load it back into Project, OVERWRITE ALL PARAMETER VALUES when prompted.
