family dimension don't match with project dimension

Good afternoon, I am making a kitchen like a family. I have in family 0.61m width for my countertop BUT when it's loaded into project, the same countertop is 0.558 m. I have save it as different name, I have already double checked, nothing it's working. any suggestions please?

thank you

A few suggestions since I'm not sure what the problem is based in your explanation.

First, check the Project Units settings under the Manage tab. Do they match in both your family and the project file? One or both of them may be rounding differently than the other.

Second, check the dimensions types you are using in both the family and the project file. Again, there may be rounding in either dimension type.

Third, turn on Thin Lines to ensure you are selecting exactly the same lines/edges of the family in the project as you are in the Family editor. Being off with either would cause such a discrepancy.

Fourth, are you showing a different Type of the family in the project than in the Family editor? This would also cause the difference between what is shown in the Family Editor and in the project file.

Let me know if none of these solve the problem.

Could be a loose nut behind the keyboard.

...or not. Just spit-balling ideas.

I have the same units, the same 3 decimal places, it's not the units. it's the dimensions. they do not match between the dimension I have in the family and the one I have once this family is loaded into project

Ok, since it isn't the Project Units, have you checked the Dimensions type settings in both the family and the project? Is any rounding happening there? How about the type showing in the family editor compared to what type is showing in the project? And have you checked with Thin Lines to confirm you are measuring the same parts of the family?

It's not constrained properly. Not much in this family is constrained properly, so you'll probably have other issues with it.

Anyways, Lock the dimension. That will solve this issue.

FYI: A lot of Errors were thrown upon opening your family at my end.
