I am trying to import an IFC file into Revit 2019. The IFC app is the most updated. However, the file imports with many faults, too many to actually use it at all. I have a DWG version of the IFC file, so judging from it I know that the faulty process occurs during the import. Anyone knows how to deal with this? Any apps that can overcome this?
I attach a ZIP file containing both files for those who are willing to have a go at it.
Hi
I tried to import ( Revit 2019 version ) , and theres some element big enough which is making it difficult to see in Zoom extent..
try this in west elevation location you should see the building..
Please look into the Phases as well, I have merged the Existing and New phase to find the import..
another way to select and find the location is
1. in 3D or some elevation, drag the mouse and select everything..
2. Filter Wall
3. Isolate Category
4. Zoom extent..
building....
West elevation

Thank you for your reply but you misunderstood my problem. It imports it, and I can find it but it is full of bugs and inaccuracies. Comapre it to the DWG file and you will see that some of the surfaces appear as transparent when they should not, and a lot of the window frames become distorted. These are the failed processes I am referring to.
Thanks!
