Just to clarify, are you saying that there is an existing building that you need to analyze?
Because if so, then I am not sure to what extent this is a Revit question(although I could be wrong, I do not really use the analysis tools in Revit), but if an analysis of an existing facade was required, that sounds to me like a job for a lidar scan of that facade.
Once you get that data, (maybe you have to our source that lidar scan, because those scanners can get very expensive), there are tools to analyze features of the lidar point cloud, and you could for example colorize points based on their "Z" value of the facade and then you would see a range of colors, sort of like a depth map you would use in a 3d software.
I have played with this software a bit, I think it could do what you are asking if I understood correctly

It is open source and seems pretty powerful but a bit of learning curve, I need to play with it more, I just do not work with points too often, and when I do its to mode existing conditions, I have not had to do any sort analysis.
