Exporting .IFC

Exporting .IFC

Hey I have a fairly specialized question. I am working for a Swedish gentlemen and we use Cadwork (not Cadworx) to do our timbeframe design. Recently I have been trying to take an existing revit drawing from Revit LT and quickly import it to the program. The only compatible file type is .IFC. When I import the file it does not have any materials associated with it, everything just defaults to a plywood material. The program also puts some strange geometry in, like wall ends being 20' tall while the rest of the wall is correct. The walls and anything that did not get a material attributed to it in Revit come out as yellow. Do I have to set-up the .IFC settings differently when exporting or is this a problem with Cadwork?

Thanks,

Hi Mack,

Sounds like this is not a programming question. You will most likely get more help from the product forum. Maybe somebody has experience.

I'm going to move it Revit product forum.
