Exporting an exploded DXF file from Revit

Hello, we are an engineering firm that uses revit for all our drawings, and from time to time need to export the floor layout to a separate engineering software to run some engineering analysis. The engineers software understands .dxf files the best, but when I export a floor plan to .dxf, it creates all the line work as a solid block and our engineering software is unable to read it.

We only have one Autocad license in the company so it is very inconvenient for me to have to use Autocad to explode the line work, then re-save and use that file.

Is there a way to export an already exploded .dxf from Revit?

This need to be done in AutoCAD. You may want to run a script. Type in SCR command and run the script. It will explode the file and exit the drawing.

Okay I was just hoping to find a work around to not have to use Autocad since the license is on a co-workers computer and is disruptive to their workflow when I need something exploded
