Exported FBX file is very low resolution

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to export some 3d geometry from Revit for use in 3ds max. One particular object seems to be exporting with very low resolution. By low resolution, I mean that cylinders do not appear round, and geometry is in general very faceted.

What I've tried so far:

• changing the display detail (fine, medium coarse)
• Exporting to different formats (DXF etc)

I believe the model has been created in some other CAD software and imported into revit. I don't have access to the original CAD files.

Can anyone suggest how to get around this issue?

Welcome to the Autodesk community!

Which version of Revit/ 3dsMax are you using? Have you installed the latest updates from your Desktop app?

Can you try importing them in parts, rather than the full model, or the cylinder model as a separate piece?

Can you share the file to test further on my end?
