Export topo contours to cad as a single pline

When exporting the site plan to cad, the contour lines end up as segmented lines or plines, with tiny gaps between them.   And seems to be the only way to connect them is to fillet them all, which can be tedious and time consuming.  Any better way of doing this, so we can send our adjusted topo to civil?

And is it something that is being worked on in a future release?

Sending the adjusted topo back to Civil?  Why don't you export it in 3D and send the 3D drawing to them?

Isolate the contour layer

Command: Pedit.

M for multiple

Select all contours segments in the file. All of them at once.

Convert to polylines. (Y)

Join.

Enter fuzz distance. This is the max gap distance autocad will use to join discontinuous polylines.

Well, I found a way to join all the lines together.

Being on the Architecture side, I'm not sure how the Civil side works.
