I am creating objects in Fusion to later import into Revit famely.

Hi

Can you please elaborate on which version of Revit you are using?

You can also achieve this via SAT files.

In general the key will be assigning materials in Revit

1. Start with a new family of a category of your choice

2. Import CAD and select the SAT file exported from Fusion

3. use Material Editor and rename the Render xxx-xxx-xxx materials to meaningful names. (if you already have a material setup in the project for the geometry, match the name in the project). Replace the Appearance asset if you want as I am not sure the Appearance comes through from SAT.

4. Save as family

5. Load it in the project. Verify materials in project.

Let me know if this helps
