When we export to DWF, Revit creates a sheet name that includes what it is (Sheet), the number and the full drawing title.
For example, if our drawing number is ABC-1234, Revit will not export this number only to DWF as the sheet name, it will call it "Sheet: ABC-1234 - Level 1 Sector A Floor Plan" (Assuming that is the title of the sheet)
This gives us problems with BIM 360 uploads and we have to manually remove the "sheet" part and the drawing name which is obviously a pain with 100 drawings in an issue.
We have been told to remove the name of the drawing in the Revit model but the usefulness of this far outweighs the renaming effort.
So, does anyone have any ideas how to export without the additional prefix and suffix
Thanks for the reply.
No, we are doing single page DWF's from Revit. The file name of the DWF is the drawing number (plus the revision letter eg ABC-1234-A). However, when you open the DWF and pull up the list view palette, the actual name is Sheet: ABC-1234 Floor Plan Level 1. (Interestingly without the Rev number / letter??)
We did not care about this before as it wasn't seen and wasn't affecting anything but now when we upload to BIM 360 we are having to open each drawing and manually delete the suffix and prefix (in the list view palette) which is a total pain
