Hi everyone,

I encountered a problem where the exported dwg (filled region in this case) produced different colour, not as in my export settings. It supposed to export the filled region in colour 8 instead of colour 27

Cheers,

Anas

Hi @anaszok12  ,

if your project contain a linked project and the display setting of the link (basics tab in rvt link display settings) is set to be "by host view" so the link is treated as an override .To ensure that colors and other graphic display settings are preserved in the exported file, on the Modify DWG/DXF Export Setup dialog (Layers tab), select "Export all properties BYLAYER, but do not export overrides

you can check this it might helps :

Hi  Mohamed.Hesham.afifi

that helped me a bit. However, I specified the filled region to be in colour 250 and the output is still in colour 7 (white).3.JPG

Hi @anaszok12

Please share your Revit and AutoCAD files and a journal to help test further on our end.

Also, specify the versions you use and confirm if you have the latest updates installed.

Thanks,

There are two methods i have tried-

    • Change the colour settings to -specified in view(true colour - RGB values). It does gave me what I wanted except it does not match with my firm autocad settings. It creates a new colour corresponds to RGB instead of index colour.11.PNG
    • edit manually in autocad
